Battle of the Books is a fun, friendly activity where teams of students read books from a specified list and compete in a trivia competition.
To be a member of the team: *attend weekly team meetings in the library to discuss the books *read all of the selected books on the reading list *take the AR test on each title *attend some practice sessions afterschool at the Willow Oaks Branch Library in February and March *attend the actual city preliminary and battle *transportation to the practice sessions and battle are not provided by the school.

I liked how the main character had the courage to be different and not conform to being normal.
I felt bad for Stargirl and how she was treated and also how people stop talking to Leo too.
