After reading this book, I have a better understanding of what it must be like to have an attention problem. Joey really had to deal with the decisions that he made. Do you know anyone who has an attention problem? How do they deal with it?
Battle of the Books is a fun, friendly activity where teams of students read books from a specified list and compete in a trivia competition.
To be a member of the team: *attend weekly team meetings in the library to discuss the books *read all of the selected books on the reading list *take the AR test on each title *attend some practice sessions afterschool at the Willow Oaks Branch Library in February and March *attend the actual city preliminary and battle *transportation to the practice sessions and battle are not provided by the school.
